Any new home can look great on the outside, but its how your home is built on the inside that really matters. That’s why Legacy Homes has System 7™. It’s our exclusive system designed to eliminate defects in the construction process.

We organized the construction process into seven critical phases, developed meticulous inspections, and put strict procedures in place. Each phase must be 100% complete and defect free before proceeding to the next phase. This means any defects are caught and corrected on the spot.

System 7™ is how we ensure quality is built-in to every Legacy Home. It’s all part of our relentless commitment to long-lasting value.

1. Foundation: Building site is prepared and concrete slab is poured
2. Framing: Wall framing begins and engineered roof trusses are put in place, and the rough plumbing and roof shingles are installed
3. Rough Mechanical: HVAC systems and electrical wiring are installed, walls are insulated and exterior siding/brick are installed
4. Drywall: Drywall is applied to the walls and ceilings
5. Paint: Trim work is installed and paint is applied
6. Cabinets: All cabinetry, counter tops, plumbing fixtures and lighting fixtures are installed
7. Finals: All flooring, final touch-ups and landscaping are completed

After these 7 construction phases are completed, a Quality Assurance (QA) walk is done where a rigid 15 page checklist is reviewed and the house is meticulously inspected by someone from our corporate office. This ensures that a second set of eyes examine the house from the future homeowner’s perspective. This covers everything from ensuring that the hot water flows at the correct temperature to ensuring any squeaky doors are addressed.
